Gross Res is a stunning alpine body of water that is open to the public for free. You can go fishing, hiking, camping, paddling and picnicking here; take out a boat, too, but no motors allowed. Likewise, camping is primitive. There are no RV hookups. This is a rugged spot for tents, but make sure you're in the right spots.
